Ron and Dorothy Strasser

This race was amazing in that the amount of singletrack (almost the whole race it seemed) made me feel like I had never raced Black Rock before. I thank Half Fast for their solid ties with BRMBA to keep this as a XC option for us uphillers and to Capitol Subaru for their important input on the new course. I do not know how you guys pulled it off, but this was not only a very tough challenge, but AMAZING FUN! Evan was so right about it being technical. Just so neat! I also thank all the sponsors who are crucial to making it possible. Support them. Last but not least to the members of BRMBA for the huge amount of hard work and vision they have given to the Black Rock area. You people are making a huge positive difference in access for mountain bikers in Oregon. Also... thanks to the State Foresters that have supported the access in this area. Conditions were about perfect today. Next up.... TOE.... that long and winding road/trail.
