Crit season in Bend is upon us, and I would like to announce a new
addition to our race calendar. The NWX Criterium, set for Friday, June
27. This will be an evening crit that is a part of the NorthWest
Crossing Hullabaloo. Other events during the crit include an Art
Stroll, Wine Garden, Live Music, Guitar Giveaway, and a Movie in the
Park,

4 categories of racing will be offered that evening; women, 4/5, 3,
1/2. NorthWest Crossing is a perfect location for a crit, and I'm sure
all will be pleased. Prizes are still being compiled, but things are
looking pretty good for those racing. Early entry will be $15, going
up to $20 during the week of the race. All information can be found at

So all you folks in the Valley, pack up your car and plan for a great
weekend in Bend. Plenty of other events taking place including my NWX
Street Scramble on that Saturday morning along with miles of roads
needing to be riden. Great opportunity for those racing Cascade
Cycling Classic and/or the High Desert Omnium to come preview some
courses.

And of course don't forget the High Desert Crit Series taking place
every Wednesday evening starting on June 18.
