To All Mt Tabor Women

Would option B start everyone as a big group then? What if we did the same
thing we did now (waves), but everyone just do the same # of laps? I would
be willing to do 7 laps and split the difference.

With Option A you will be able to see your competition as you await your
start, but the intention is to add you to an existing field. When the Sr
Women come around the first time you will be included in that field. What
the officials are trying to do is not have 3 disparate groups out on the
course, doing different laps.

I also prefer Option A, since I like to know who my competition REALLY is!
With a fully combined field, it's difficult or impossible to know your
placing during the race, which in my experience is a pretty big motivator.

As a CAT 4 racer - both options seem quite equal to me given that the number
of laps remains the same and all 3 fields might eventually bleed together
even if staggered initially. If pressed to pick, however, I'd vote for
option A.

I am getting some feedback from the referees about scoring the womens races.

Which of the following two options would you prefer?

(a) Start the senior women and when they come by after lap 1 then start the
Cat 4 women, and when this combined field comes by then start the Masters.
This way the groups will get to do the different laps (7, 6, 5) and they
will all finish on the same lap.

(b) Run all the women together, with each category doing 6 laps total.

I believe either (a) or (b) will make scoring easier.

Thanks for your input.
