It's time to ask some questions..... like:
- How well are we (OBRA) meeting the needs of our growing membership?
- What do we want to be when we grow up?
- What kinds of changes are needed to do a better job both now and in the
future (specific program recommendations)?
- How do we make those changes (Labor, process and timing)?
- Who directs, manages and implements these changes (additional Board
positions/subcommittees)?
- Who/What are our resources and how do we market (membership and budget
implications)?
- What are the organizational implications (tax status)?
- What can we learn from successes and failures at the national level (USA
Cycling, etc.)?
Next weekend the board of directors and a few others will be meeting to try
and brainstorm some of the above ideas. I'd welcome ideas from any of you
on what new programs or changes we can implement in order to serve you better.
