I have an older PT Pro (not 2.4ghz). I've read that the hub measures
torque 60 times a seconds (as well and speed and cadence, but maybe
not at 60Hz). It sends a digital RF signal to the pickup, somehow
encoding these three values.
Does anyone know anything about how this works? I'm trying to figure
out how hard it'd be to make my own powertap cpu with an A/D and
microcontroller. Has anyone done this before?
