Hi All,

I'm in the market for a new commuter / moderate touring bike. I'm hoping to find the following:

- Road bike frame, 56 or 57cm.
- No more than 5 years old, or at least have modern shifters.
- Steel frame preferable. Open to aluminum though.
- Disc brakes a plus but not a must.
- Any existing accessories (e.g. fenders, saddle bags, lights, etc) a plus.
- I'd spend up to $700 for the right bike, but would be excited to find a nice bike at $500 or less.

Hi List,
My friend is looking to buy a used road bike, entry level. Is
anyone selling a road bike in the Portland area in approximately a
size 56cm? Looking for a bike that is appropriate for group rides,
and may get into racing but not right away. Prefer something that
doesn't need a ton of work or missing too many parts. Prefer something
around shimano 105 or better.

Hello obra land,

I am trying to find a road bike for a guy who is participating with Team
in Training this season, with the goal of Pacific Crest long course
triathlon this summer. He current has a mtn bike with road tires and needs
a road bike. His budget is slim ~500 or less. If anybody has a good solid
bike they want to sell please let me know. He is 5"10 so thinking a 54 or 56
is probably the range he is needing.

If anyone has any leads of knows of something, please let me know.

I would suggest taking a look at the Community Cycling Center up on NE Alberta, they have a pretty good selection of used bikes and that is the perfect price range to be looking at.
