Please consider helping out by volunteering some time to at least one of the stages below. Think of it this way - the members of your team that are racing will really benefit from your help! And you'll have a front row seat to cheer them on. This is a big, big race and it's in real need of good volunteers.
Pass it on!
Hello,
My name is Renee Mansour and I am the volunteer coordinator for the Cascade Cycling Classic being held July 9th through the 13th. This race is all ran by volunteers like you and me. We appreciate each and everyone of you and to show our appreciation you will partake in a BBQ, receive a Cascade Cycling Classic t-shirt and receive a $10 gift card from Bend Bike N Sport. Time is drawing near! I know it may be difficult to commit now but I am asking you to please give me at least a few hours one of the days of the race. It is helpful to know who is volunteering so that we can get the t-shirts ordered and everyone can 1)receive one, and 2)get the size they want. Below I have listed the individual stages and what time volunteers need to report to duty. For the most part we will meet at the race start for each stage and you will be given instructions and the necessary tools that are needed for your position. You will then go to your positions on the race course. Once the rac
ers come through a sweep vehicle will come through and collect your items(radio's, vests, signs) you then will be free to go. Please look at the dates and times and email me the following information:
The stage you wish to volunteer at
Your home number
Cell number that you can be reached at the day of the race
T-shirt size
Lastly, tell me if you are a certified flagger
