Chad
Good Morning OBRA,
Due to a huge number of disappointed CAT 2's and 3's that could not get into this year's Cascade Cycling Classic the organization has decided to make a couple of changes that will allow us to better accommodate riders. We will now be offering a CAT 2 only field. The CAT 3 men will now race with the CAT 4's which have shown very small registration numbers in comparison. In this field CAT 3's and 4's will be run together but scored separately for GC. Stage prizes will go to the over all winners of the combined race. Same scoring for the masters 35+/45+. Speaking of masters were are you?! Have you all retired from racing. We have seen a huge down turn in your numbers this year and want to know where you have gone.
If you are planning on racing either the 3/4 race or the two's do not wait to register. We are anticipating both categories to fill.
Course maps and descriptions are now up on the website at www.cascade-classic.org The TT course is still being determined and we should have an answer by this coming Tuesday. All courses are now officially open from the snow. Cascade Lakes was the last to open yesterday. I look forward to seeing you in Bend this coming July!
Sincerely,
Chad Sperry
