Hi folks. An ex-student of mine who happens to be a very empathetic and talented woman just wrote me to ask me to spread the word that, as some of you know, others besides cyclists are working for a new vehicular homicide law in Oregon. She lost her father a few months ago in the accident on Cornelius Pass Rd., I think where it meets Rt. 30, because someone coming down Rt. 30 plowed through a red light.

She wrote me: "I ... know that the cycling community is pushing for a vehicular homicide law in Oregon. I am still working on the site, but if you could spread the word about it (since we are all working for the same cause) I would really appreciate it. Also, if you or anyone else has suggestions as to what to add to the site itself, please let me know and I will get it up there. http://alawforlonny.com/ "

The website is titled: "A Law for Lonny: Building a Vehicular Homicide Law in Oregon." Again, it's can be reached at:
http://alawforlonny.com/

People might be interested in looking at the site, and Tori would love to hear any comments or suggestions; you can go to the "Contact Us" page there of course.

Thanks for your time,
