MTB short track #1

Yes. Let the professionals take care of a person in need. I am thinking of
him and hoping for a full recovery. We were best served by being kept busy
and somewhat ignorant. No need for gawking in these situations. As far as
the triple back camel out in the woods... they probably were giggling at us
but we just did not hear them. Can't blame them as we were funny and having
fun.

Just a few things:

#1 I hope that the rider that left in an ambulance is okay. Sending
positive vibes your way!

#2 I'm not going to second guess the promoters in whether or no the
race should have been stopped/paused. It looks like everyone did a
good job and keeping things calm and orderly (keeping folks out of
the way by keeping them racing) was probably the best thing for all
parties.

#3 A note to the hoser dude that grabbed my handlebar for a free ride
through the piles of dirt on the start lap-- please don't do that
again, Mr. Wanker. Use your feet to make the bike go.

#4 It was a fun race! I especially liked how the little whoop-de-doos
(out in the trees) were scientifically designed to make me look like
a dork when I tumbled off them. Twice. The the folks standing
nearby-- thanks for not giggling.

See you all next week!
