Needed: 10 Category 3/4 cyclists - 2,3 alternates

DAte & time- Sun. July 27 Portland Intl. Raceway 'Mazda Grand Prix'
race time 9-10 AM

Motathlon - high performance driving, cycling, running. Run in sequence,
like a triathlon, lowest ET wins. 3 person teams (solo also)

Procedure- Teams will be formed by draw. The cars www.nwspecmiata.com
will do 5 at speed laps, full course, then off track.Cyclists will run
on a shorter course based on the front straight. Runners will finish event.
Cycling & running events will be sprints. Details pending.

Why - Our long term goal is to promote the latest in alternative fuels &
tech on track. Green doesn't have to mean slow. We want to grow the sport
into a pro-support series for major matorsports venues. Great purses and big
fun....."Racing is racing and the Motathlon exemplifies the idea of
fastest better than any single event". Winner of first event, done solo at
PIR on a motorcycle. OMMRA.
