The third event in the Norman Babcock Cat 4 Women's series is this Saturday:
Firecracker Criterium
Saturday, July 5
11:45 a.m.

For newer riders (or anyone else) apprehensive about the crit experience, this is a great, wide-open course. There are two corners and two bigger sweeping turns that are probably wider than the turns at Alpenrose. And the whole course is utterly, completely flat. It is a great course for developing or polishing your crit skills.
Post-race commentary and analysis this week will be courtesy of Kori Kunz of the Poplollies team. She'll share her insights on the race and offer tips for your next criterium.
And if a crit isn't enough racing for you for the weekend, stick around for the 40K time trial on Sunday (details in the flyer linked above). It would be great practice for the OBRA time trial championship on this very same course on August 10.
Big thanks to series sponsors Veloforma, Ironclad, and Luna and to Kori!
