Actually, I still think their normal clinchers are terrible. They ride well, but seem prone to flat easily (I am sure there are others who will disagree). I have found the tubeless are a bit thicker and flat less easily, plus you can put sealant in them. Also, no pinch flats which for those of us eho are a bit heavier is nice.

I?m not yet convinced. If I want to run 90 PSI, I simply stop pumping at 90 PSI. If I were doing this and having pinch flats (unlikely IME at <165 lb), I?d run a 25 mm tire (which I do on the back in training anyway). Perhaps the tubeless tires have less rolling resistance, but you can also get lower rolling resistance by using a wider tire (e.g. 25 mm) of equal casing and tread thickness. The main drawback of using such a wider tire is that it won?t accept as much pressure as the narrower tire, but lower pressure is one of the claimed advantages of tubeless. Does anybody have (pointers to) rolling resistance data for the tubeless vs tube question? Finally, I must admit that I am prejudiced against Hutchinson due to the wretched quality of their tires that were prevalent on the market in the ?70s.
