Categories are set up according to ability, age and sex:

Ability--Beginner, Sport, Expert, Pro/Semi-Pro, Clydesdale, Single Speed

Age--Under 15, 15-18, 18 and under (Expert only), 19-34, 35-44 and 45+

Sex--Oooh, Toughie, not "yes"/"no". :-)



If individual promoters want to add or combine categories, this is fine as long

as racers understand that their results may change in the database if these

categories weren't originally factored into the mix. For example, combining

what I've called "super masters" in Expert and Sport together is groovy for an

individual race, but they will be folded back in with the 45+ competitors,

re-sorted by time and awarded points accordingly for SoBe and OBRA standings.

I've added a new category to our race and was wanting to email the people on

OBRA's list of this change since they now have inaccurate flyers.

Specifically the 55+ racers. Is it possible to do this without too much

trouble? The additional category is "Expert/Sport Masters Men 55+".
