Don Mathews
I have a soon to be five year old son and I have heard that yes they do make
small MTB's and No they do not... curious if someone out there has one that
there child has out grown? Nothing fancy this is more along the lines of
getting him a bike like dads. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Don Mathews

Has anyone ever set up a non-ust tire tubeless for the road? I know that
for mountain bikes (which have their obvious difference of being lower
pressure, higher volume) a non-ust tire set up with tubeless is a viable
option.
I've had excellent luck setting up a non-ust michelin tire on my shimano xtr
960 era wheelset, with nothing more than sealant and a floor pump.

Thanks to everyone who came out last Monday to race or to cheer on the close
to 350 racers at our third evening of short track racing.
The preliminary results of Monday's races (for all categories) have been
posted on our series web site at
http://www.portlandracing.com/results-07-07-2008-prelim.html
The deadline for corrections to riders' placement is Friday (7/11) 5pm. I
plan to post the final results over the weekend and of course hope to see
you all back next Monday for another fun night of short track madness!

From May.

Summary: No it won't work. Maybe a steel bead with under 90
psi... , but certainly not kevlar. it has to with how the
pressure pushes the bead against the hook. With a tube the "seal
point" is different (down lower) than with a tubeless, so there ends up
being more force pushing a conventional tubed clincher bead against the
hook.
Tubeless relies a lot on the hoop or circumferntial stiffness of the
bead, thus the high modulus carbon fiber bead... so sort of
more like motorcycle or car tubeless where there is no
hook just a very very stiff bead.

I am looking to get some bids on a home remodel. It involves a second
story. If any of you have experience with a good GC that you trust for a
good price let me know.
Thanks!
