Track bike built around 1972 by frame builder Ernie Atikinson, for himself. Perfect condition. Ernie tells me he built the frame, put it in the attic and it hung there until I bought it about a year ago. Who's Ernie? (Ernie can be found in a '70's edition bicycling magazine as one of twenty top US frame bulders.) He's a good guy; now lives in Oregon. It's a cool bike. Any number of you have seen it. I've got a signed bill of sale from Ernie. The only damage on the whole bike is a scratch on the front rim.

Ridiculously awesome bike. Sale forced. Sucks to sell it. $1000.00

It's steel.
-columbus steel (don't remember the series)
-custom built by the bulder for the builder
-chrome track ends
-track bike
-53 cm
-nitto track drops
-campy seat post
-campy stem (as I remember ... but may be cinelli)
-campy headset
-campy hubs
-campy locknut
-soma cog ... don't remember what size
-campy cranks
-campy chainring
-campy pedals and clips
-bottom bracket ... can't remember, I think it's olmo? omos? something like that ...
-chain is mks, I think
-campy front brake caliper
-tektro brake lever
-arione fizik seat, yellow and silver, matching the bike, currently mounted ... (the old school cinelli, which you can see in the photos, is available, if you'd rather have that)
-front fork is drilled for a brake
-no way to mount brake on rear
-no water bottle mounts or cable guides ... really is a track bike
-no dents
-no scratches
-no rust
-nasty blue bar tape should have been replaced with something green or yellow, but it's comfy
-colnago branded ambrosio clincher 700c excellence wheels, with a scratch
-michelen pro race 2 tires
-alfredo binda white leather toe straps

With the exception of the hubs, which I've always assumed are pista, the campy components are chorus and record.

Call me. I need to move it fast.

Thanks.
