Interesting Article about Commuting

Bike lanes are for the convenience of the motor vehicle driver. Once cycling becomes a real trend we will no longer need them. IMHO of course. I am not asking anyone to agree with me. :)

It makes me happy to live in place like Eugene where you can commute pretty much anywhere with bike lanes/paths. There is a lot of work to be done though in many areas to make it a safe/safer place for bikes, especially drivers being a little more patient!
