Movie Night @ McMenamins - July 21st: Come join the crew of WebCyclery for Overcoming -- An intense, and emotional look behind the scenes of team CSC during the 2004 Tour de France.

Danish filmmaker Tómas Gislason follows Bjarne Riis and his Team CSC as they prepare for, and then battle their way through the 2004 Tour de France. Ride in the team car during agonizing mountain climbs, mad sprints to finish lines, and bone-breaking crashes. But this documentary also focuses on the fascinating subject matter of team communication (good and bad) and how it influences and puts real pressure on every member of the team.

Beautifully filmed, Overcoming features Bjarne Riis, Ivan Basso, Carlos Sastre, Jens Voigt, and Bobby Julich.

Kevin Gorman, a film critic known for his thumbs-up and thumbs-down reviews with his brother and fellow critic, Mean Todd, has praised Overcoming and heralded it as "The craziest Bjarne Riis and Team CSC movie ever." Mean Todd continued the accolades and added, "As long as you're going to be at McMenamins drinking a beer, you might was well be watching Overcoming at the same time."
