Good job to all the racers out there - what a great year it has been!!! Many thanks to our amazing group of officials who come out and keep us in line, do the paperwork, read crooked numbers, watch video, and then turn that all into the glorious results we have all come to love! Thank you OBRA officials!!!!!
Meanwhile some OUCH updates:
Sunday August 3rd, 2008 - Corbett School District campus only 20 minutes East of I-205.
16.2 miles of lovely non-downhill, non-flat racing with 3812 feet of elevation gain.
All the fun, fellowship, and sheer joy. "OUCH - Because anyone can ride downhill"
Yes, there was a problem with the link on the OUCH homepage to the online registration but it's all better now.
Online signup is available through next Monday evening. A starting list will be posted prior to Friday August 1st.
A reminder, that there will limited slots between groups who have pre-registered. While there is day-of registration, staring times will be assigned to the end of the starting list in first-come-first-served order. But you can save time, save money, save check-in hassels and get an early pre-known start time by pre-registering online or USPS. There is no discrimination, OUCH will take either.
The now world famous Richard Anderson Family OBRA Time Trial Starting ramp will make it's return so you can begin your "journey of joy" with a downhill boost!
Scenic views are all along the course as well as the 200m walk up the path to the second highest viewpoint in the Northern Oregon Cascade Range. Wow - even le' Tour sprinters are probably considering this....
Hope to see you there!
Good luck and fun racing!
