Attention Team Leaders:

It's time to plan the 2008 Meet the Team rides! I'll be coordinating the effort in Portland this fall, and helping representatives in other areas of the state set up similar MTT ride programs.

The purpose of these rides is to provide an opportunity to introduce new riders and teams who open to adding members. Although last year's rides was initiated largely to promote women's racing a great number of men also came out to find a team. Many were new, unattached racers just starting out, but we also saw a fair number of Cat 4 and a few Cat 3 riders who wanted to find a better team fit for themselves.
