FS: A First Generation REI Novara Ponderosa steel framed mountain bike.
Complete bike, Cateye trip computer, plus water cage, rear rack included
along with two avocet slicks not shown and several tubes

We are the original owners selling. This is my wife¹s bike that we bought
new from Janzen Beach REI late 1980¹s.. This bike will appeal to perhaps one
of two types.

One who is looking for a near perfect copy of 1st generation MTB bike
technology. i.e. ?bio-pace¹ chain rings and rear brakes down by the bottom
bracket.

OR, to an individual looking for solid cheap transportation...

In July 2007 my wife was hit head on by another cyclist. The bike now has a
bent front fork. So you¹ll need to put a new one on.. I got a $55-$60 quote
from a local pdx bike shop. Would not trust bending back the stock fork.

This bike has way cool metallic pink and metallic turquoise paint.... Oh,
the gum wall tires are original with quite a bit of knobby left... so this
steed was not ridden that much..

Just lowered the price, wife sezs sell it! so here we are: $185.00 OBO!!!!
