Race at Reehers has not happened for the last 2 years. Last year there were not any good dates left on the calendar for the race. All the early weekends when racers actually show up to race were taken, so we decided to try again this year. This year, the road and trail system was severely damaged from this winter's storms. The road climb we used to use was completely washed out less than half way up. The short loop trail we used also had a major washout that made it impassible. Thus, the course was un-usable for 2008. We have stayed in contact with the ODF to see if we can use some of the other trails in the area when/if the roads are repaired. We have had discussions with them and hope to be able to bring the race back next year.
