Ron and Dorothy Strasser
Six Mondays of DIRT fun done for the year. The different courses were not just exciting to ride, but good challenges for riders this year. Great job on design. The beginner/women clinics offered support for new riders in a place where participants could turn around and try what they were shown just minutes later. The Zoobombers not only entertained themselves, but all of us that got to watch them "navigate" the motocross course. The kiddie races were a huge success. All you had to do was watch the before, during and after their event. They were flying high. A big congratulations to B-Attorney Team for their second year of total domination of the Team Relay. They are a determined bunch. They now get to worship the coveted Rotating Relay Trophy for another year. I wonder if that trophy will rotate to another team next year?
All of the RIDERS (and their families/friends), VOLUNTEERS, SPONSORS, OBRA and PIR were the components that made each night such positive experience. Last week when I had to abandon was as much fun as the other weeks because I got to cheer for the riders I usually was competing against.
I want to thank Kris Schamp. He is the spark that started this series and has continued to do the massive amount of work involved getting all the above components together to produce a positive, yet kind of dirty environment for us to spend our Monday evening for six weeks each summer.
Thank you Kris.
