This week will be Australian Pursuits
NOT POINTS RACES.
We did not get to do the Australian
Pursuits do to rain earlier in the year and  many folks wanted to make sure that we get the opportunity to race this FUN EVENT. Soooooo that's what we are doing.
This will be a tournament format, which means that you will be guaranteed more than one race. This could be good or bad depending on the pairings and how you race it.
For those that don't know, the Australian Pursuit has riders starting at various spots on the track at the same time. When you catch a rider, that rider is out of the race. This continues until there is one rider left.
This is a good race to progress from timed events to mass starts since you are never in a group situation on the track but are racing with others.
