Elmer's Ultimate high performance glue. used them on an old pair of Sidis. incredible. Its almost like the glue "melts" and fuses the plastics or tread back together.. better then factor glue... Use sparingly, it "foams" as it cures and will leak out too though. or wipe excess.

This is another version of "Gorilla Glue." Both are "1 part" polyurethane adhesives. The "foaming" is due to ambient moisture (it picks up water from the air). The Elmer's was tested and found to be 40% stronger than Gorilla Glue.

The big issue with this stuff is getting it off your hands. The first step is don't get it on your hands in the first place. Kinda like "Krazy Glue." Here is a quote from an experienced user on the website:

Comment from contributor J:
I used Gorilla Glue recently to repair an outside concrete garden bench that had a chipped corner. The repair was excellent; however I did get the water/glue on both of my hands and tried many things to remove it. First I tried paint thinner, then acetone, then lava soap and water and then I finally resorted to Mentholatum and every bit of the stickiness vanished. It also helped my old damaged hands heal too.

Quote ends here.

Hope this helps.

I spent 12 years skateboarding daily, and came to love "Shoe Goo".

I don't know how well it would work on some of the materials in cycling shoes, but it works wonders on every other type of shoe. It's crazy durable too!
able to withstand the griptape and "Ollie" wear and tear.
