Veloce Bicycle September Handicap Series

Maintain your fitness for cross season or end your road season with a fun series.

After a brief hiatus in 2007, the September Handicap Series is back starting September 2, 2008. This unique racing format has been called "cat and mouse" and will equal the playing field. In this event everyone is in the same race; except that the less experienced groups (or mice) will be given a head start
and the cats who will start later and must catch the mice to be eligible for the points available in the race.

Are you a Cat IV or Cat III woman frustrated with always being put in the same race as the Cat I's and II's? This is the race for you.

Are you a Cat IV or Cat III man wanting to continue the road season and get some experience against the "big boys"? This is the race for you.

Everyone has a chance to succeed.

Racing starts each night at 5:50 with a novice men's race. The women's race will begin at 6:00 p.m. and followed by the men at 6:30 p.m.

Registration is $15 per night or $40 for the series. Series prizes will be available for each category. More information coming soon!
