Hi folks,

The second annual Oregon Trout City of Portland Triathlon will take to the rivers and streets next Sunday, Aug. 31 for our second annual swim-bike-run competition. We have expanded the bike course this year, and the event will be a kick-off for the inaugural city-wide RiverFest. As with last year, the event is committed to responsible and more sustainable production methods through 100% solar power, bamboo bike racks, recycled fabric race shirts, carpool and carbon offset facilitation, and much more.

We are seeking kind and generous individuals who can devote a few hours of time on Sunday morning of raceday, Aug. 31. All volunteers will receive an organic cotton shirt designed by a local Portland artist, and free enjoyment of organic food, Deschutes beer, and live music in Waterfront Park.
