In my experience with dudes like that that are willing to brandish a weapon also have a criminal record, so that could be enough to have him either violated, or as cause to have his vehicle searched. A felon + firearm = jail, and one less count to get them sent away.

There's also a very good chance that there is more that he's in possession of than just a firearm.

either way he definitely broke the law, and you should encourage the police to follow through. considering that that dude is a blatant threat to public safety.

Did you get his license plate? How about calling the police? I may not be a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure he can't be allowed to do that. Anyone have any thoughts?

Tonight I confronted a motorist that when driving by yelled get the f out of the street...later at a red light when I confronted him (by asking him what the problem was) he pulled a handgun from under the seat and pointed it directly at me and started to get out of his vehicle...the light turned green and he kissed the barrel and drove off. This goes to show you what kind of drivers we are dealing with. I for one am done confronting aggressive motorists.
