Pain on the Peak

Portland Velo and Sunset Cycles are excited to present the first dose of
CX for the Portland area in the the 2008 season! Pain on the Peak will be
held on Saturday, September 13th 2008!

Situated near the top of Bald Peak in southern Hillsboro, this brand
new venue promises to offer stunning views and amazing racing for all
categories. Pre-registration ($20) is now open at
http://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=3G2V9K7 and runs through
September 8th. Day of registration is $25, with additional races $5 a
piece. Check in and day of registration opens at 8am and closes 10 mintues
before race start. Kiddie Race is free, so bring the family along! (OBRA
waiver required.)

Break with Kiddie Race 12:30pm 30m
Men B, Single Speed 1:00pm 45m
All Women (A,B,Beg,Jr) 1:55pm 45m
Men A, Masters A 35+ 2:50pm 60m

$750 in cash prizes provided by Tanasbourne Dental Care and Emerge Inc.
Men/Women A - Cash + Merch 5 deep
Men/Women B - Cash + Merch 3 deep
SS/C's - Merch 3 deep

Tons of other prizes to be awarded from sponsors Keen Footware, SKINS, The
Human Bean, and co-host Sunset Cycles. Food sponser Madison's Bar and Grill
will have a barbecue and beer garden available, so make sure to bring some
cash along. Parking is free! Come kick off your CX season at Pain at the
Peak!
