Kris Schamp
Thanks to the close to 300 racers (and all the kiddie racers and spectators) who came out yesterday to Sauvies Island to kick off the Kruger's Kermesse Farm Crit Series 2008, whip their bodies in shape for the upcoming cross season, or just to have fun at the farm. I hope you all had a great time!
If you missed out on yesterday's action, no big deal. We have two more races coming on Sunday Sept 7 and Sunday Sept 14. This next weekend we are taking a break.
A couple other things:
1) The same bib numbers will be used for all 3 races. If you decide to race a different category next time around, you will have to get a new bib number at the race, since every category has its own number series.
2) Preliminary results of yesterday's race have been posted on the OBRA site: http://app.obra.org/results/2008/Cyclocross/13071
For any questions or corrections, please contact Candi Murray.
3) Top-15 racers in each category will receive points that will count towards the overall series standings. We will post the points of the first race, as soon as the results have been finalized.
4) Team Relay: we changed our plans and will only stage a team relay race at the last race (9/14). Details will follow. If you paid for yesterday's relay race, we'll give you a refund of your entry fee at the next race.
Hope to see you all back at the farm in two weeks!
~Kris
