sports psychologist help

Hi,

After an accident on my bike, I have been having a lot of trouble handling any descending, or anything fast.  I've tried getting back into it slowly, relaxing, meditation, and more, but after a couple of years, I'm only getting more stressed when I descend climbs, and I overbrake and make it worse..

I have heard that there are sports psychologists that may be able to help, but the only ones I see online not only aren't in the Portland area, but seem to specialize in refining one's golf game.

If you can refer me to anyone, it would be appreciated.  I was hoping to find a clinician in my insurance network but I think the chances of that are slim.  I'm told that being treated for PTSD would be my only option, but I feel like I want to address the specific panic that happens while taking corners on descents--mountain biking and especially road biking--and if the clinician doesn't know biking, it probably won't work.

Any ideas, please email to me off-list.

Thank you!
