I've had it with "prepaid" cell phones where the "call time" only lasts for
a month. What I want is as follows:
1) Cheap ($20)
2) time is good for 1 year or forever
3) ability to send & receive calls
4) reasonably rugged/reliable.
That's it. What someone called the "crack dealer's special."
What comes close? What are your experiences?
I've been carrying an ATT "go phone" which is supposed to be able to access
911 even if the "time plan" has expired. Knowing ATT's history, I'd be
suprised if it works. Has anyone got personal experience with this?
