True Champion!!! and Thanks to the POP volunteers and Organizers.....

First thanks to all that organized and volunteered!  I truly enjoyed all the difficulty provided.  As for the true championship form I witnessed it would be easy to assume that watching Mr. Trebon climb the Wall of Pain with such ease would be cause for a shout out but actually it was Tina Brubaker's benevolence that I am speaking of.  Immediately after Mrs. Brubaker schooled the ladies and with her lap times most of the men,  she headed back down the hill to the WOP where she assisted a young lady on a BMX bike and rode her all the way to the finish.  It is this type of good form that we should all aspire to have.  As for the young lady on the BMX bike who rode several laps, Kudos to her as well.  She did not have a carbonium bike or the latest tubular's on an unobtanium wheel set but a 35lb BMX bike, now that is a true competitor.

Best Regards,

Great job, great venue!  I thought the course was fantastic, dust included (added that lurking cloud of mystery feel to whatever might await you around the corner or down the hill).  Love it and will spread the word to attend next year.

Well worth the drive from Florence (even though I suffered in more ways than expected).

Thanks, Chris
