Yes you can use the previous number. Please help us try and minimize the
number of numbers we are required to give out.

If you change category and get a new number can you use the original number
if you go back?
In other words, can you flip back an forth.
If so you would just have two numbers depending on the cat you are racing?
I am pretty sure I would not win or lose in either category, it is more for
convenience of scheduling.

The Cross Crusade on-line race and series payment system is up and running. You can access it from the schedule page of each individual race. There is also a link for series registration on each of the pages if you would like to do that. For example, the Alpenrose on-line is at:

http://www.crosscrusade.com/registration/october_5.html

Here are some important details:

1) You will use the same cyclo-cross number all season. If you pick up a number at any of the Portland area and Hood River races, keep that number and use it all season. Only get a new number if you change category.

2) For Alpenrose, if you register on-line or mail in registration and have gotten a number from an earlier cross race, you will NOT have to stand in any lines. You can go directly to the start of your race without a sign-in. We will post a list at crosscrusade.com of the people who are eligible to do this on the Saturday before the race and we will post a list near registration also. For later races we may ask you to show up to a self serve sign-in table if you have pre-registered.

3) If you register on-line or by mail for Alpenrose and have not done any of the earlier Portland area races or Hood River and don't have a number we will have a seperate line for you to pick up your number at Alpenrose. You can also pick up your number on the Saturday before the Alpenrose race where we will have a registration/number pickup table set up while we are setting up the course.

4) If you don't pre-register, no problem. You can show up day of race just like always and we will be happy to help you and answer any question. There is no late fee or any other hassle.

If I have left any info out, there are any questions, or you have any comments/suggestions for improvement, let me know.

Thanks, Jon Myers
