All,

Last Sunday, on a hot but beautiful late-summer day, we closed the Kruger's Kermesse Farm Crit Series with some heavily contested races on the dry, dusty, and hard-packed farm roads of Suavies Island.

The final series standings have been posted at:

Major thanks to the 500+ racers (and the 50+ kiddie racers) who came out to one or more of the races. The feedback I received has been very positive and we'll be back next year with the same format, a mini-series of 3 races in late Aug and early September. If you have any comments or suggestions to make this series even better, just shoot me an email.

I also like to thank our title sponsor Cyclepath, as well as our other generous series sponsors (Chris King, Clif Bar, Rapha, Nossa Familia Coffee and Bio-Racer); Don Kruger and the friendly folks at Kruger's Farm; the OBRA officials who did a stellar job; and - last but not least - all the volunteers who helped out with set-up, registration, marshaling, lap counting, first-aid, and tear-down, and without whom we couldn't have pulled it off.

Time for cross now. See you at the races!

~Kris

PS: We'll be back with one more race at the farm this season: the 3rd edition of the Kruger's Crossing Cyclocross Classic, which will take place on Sunday November 23rd (one week after the final Cross Crusade race). Make sure to mark your calendar for what has proven to be a fun and epic cross race!
