Rick does have a point with regard most likely time for dusty races....but,
having raced a bunch of central oregon mtb races and some dusty cross races
my MOST DUSTY race ever was the FIRST PAIN ON THE PEAK cross race a few
years back. Not going into details, but "hoping you were on the course" was
a big part of the North section. Those who were there Know exactly what I
am talking about . It was somewhat better the second year.

Are you all listening to yourselves here?
Start Cross season in the summer (during a drought no less) and then
complain about dust - hilarious!
:-D

Anything between August and October should be called Kermesse
season....take out barriers.

After October 1 put barriers back in and call it Cyclocross.

Either way its a great excuse to get away from the kids. Drink some beer.
Fire up the BBQ. Compare bike parts. And bitch about how old we are all
getting.

Just remember to have fun!

If anyone found a small garage door remote control, I did lose one at the race today.
otherwise I suspect it is in the dirt, I'll go back tomorrow and retrace my steps.
let me know if you found it, great racing all!
