Ccx races and fixed gears

Let's not get all crazy and ask for even more fields. Many series don't even
have a singlespeed category, let alone allow fixies to ride in it. Asking
for a fixed-only category smacks of BAR point hunting. If you're unhinged
enough to ride a fixie on a 'cross course, you can ride with the coasters.

How about splitting that field to single speed then fixed? Is there enough
interest? But then again, is there enough time in the day to run an extra
field???

How about splitting that field to single speed then fixed? Is there enough
interest? But then again, is there enough time in the day to run an extra
field???

The powers that be have agreed that we will allow fixed gear bicycles though
2008 in cross races - except the USGP. They are looking a banning them in
2009. If you disagree with that you should plan on attending the annual
meeting in January.
