I'll second that WOW.
The course and the venue was a highlight for me and my family so far this year. My wife and I both raced, as did my 7 year old son in the kiddie race. Then we followed up with taking the rest of the family on the hay ride, corn maze, petting zoo, watching the pumpkin cannon, and finished off by taking about 85 lbs worth of pumpkins home.
For anybody looking for a family friendly venue for cross racing, it doesn't get any better than this.
I really hope to see this event back next year.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Pumpkin Cannons, Draft Goats, Heiser Farms Thank You
Wow, For those of you who passed up on Heiser Farms Cross you missed out on an incredible day. The weather was amazing, the venue was beautiful, the water crossing was epic, the racing was top notch, and everyone couldn't stop saying great things about the course and the pumpkin cannon. We want to thank everyone for coming out and its guaranteed to be bigger and better next year.
I also have to shout out to the women, by FAR they had the largest field and not to mention the biggest smiles. It was so great to see so many people having a blast. Ladies, you made the day!
Battle Creek Cross is coming up on Nov. 8th. Expect another great event but I am sorry to say we won't be able to bring out the cannon or the super sized draft goats!
