Man, that was such a motivator last year to pass the waffle stand every
lap. When the wind was just right, you could smell them on the big hill,
too.

Might I suggest the Nutella and marionberry jam for those who haven't tried
it. Bliss, my friends. Gooey, waffly bliss.

Your starting protocol may have changed, but the waffles will be the same as last year - hot and fresh, and located halfway up the hill next to the finish with the other expo peeps. I'll try to waft the aroma far enough down the lower parking lot so that you can't forget (or resist the temptation to walk back up)!

For Rainier, all Clydesdale sizes will be 20% off - that's XL or size 36 waist and above (yep, I have one XXL sweater waiting for the big bad racer ready to claim it).

I'll have help this weekend, too, so don't worry about a line for waffles.
