Best scene ever...  "NO CAPES!".  I think Candi may have just found her costume!  :-)  Edna!

not to be a geek about "no capes", but the incredibles no capes bit was a reference to Watchmen and the death of Dollar Bill, the super hero who died when his cape got caught in a revolving door.

So wait, if the winner of the A men is mid-read, that might take 2nd & 3rd with him? We thought it was just stubborn-ness, maybe it was a strategy all along?!?

Please no capes! They cover numbers and make the officials have to do a LOT more work. Please make sure that regardless of what costume you wear we will still be able to see your number. You might not care how you place but we don't have a way of knowing if you care or not so we have to assume that everyone cares and we have to work to make sure we do that as quickly and accurately as possible.

This year had to be the highest percentage of riders wearing costumes. There were so few without costumes. The most impressive thing about this in my opinion is the fact that many top riders do wear costumes. It is not just the middle of the road fodder like myself that keep it in perspective by having some fun while racing. To those who dressed up in costume, I say cheers and thanks for the show. You made the days much more of a treat. So many costumes were well thought out and executed. Team Tron was "Art on the Fly". They dished it out on the course and with the frisbee lasers across the course. Without mud all the costumes stayed so nice and pretty as well.... but the rain will greet us at Barton. Yeah Barton!
