My teammate, Pat Gerke, crashed at Astoria. He separated his shoulder and
broke his collarbone. Brit from Portland Velo happened to be right there
when he crashed. She drove Pat the emergency room, missing her own race to
look after him.
Brit, you are an awesome person for helping Pat. I just wanted to send out
this note so that everyone in OBRA knows you rock.
Brit races in the beginner womens field, #211. Cheer for her, she deserves
it.
