too wet for mtb riding?

I did clearly say that some areas are more sensitive to rut creation, and to
be mindful.....But I have to say...compared to what...let's say hikers
(trash, holes, steps, practically wanting wheel chair accessibility),
horses, (deep holes, torn up hillsides, poop) Loggers, (well do we need to
go there for the damage they do to the forest trails), Gasoline addicts (you
know the type on and in their motor vehicles), not to mention what mother
nature in general does)....Mountain bikers do very little damages to any
given trail under any condition....point in fact, the majority of trails
would not even be there if it weren't for mountain bikers....The last time I
was out doing trail maintenance I never saw any of the previously mentioned
users out there working the/a trail....I too have ridden all over the USA in
all weather from 20 below zero to boiling hot, from Alaska & Hawaii, from
the Midwest to the deep South.....and being a prudent trail user is
universal...don't make a ass out of yourself...that all you need to
remember...

Oh, the enthusiasms of the core! =)

No need to worry about my mountain biking "realness"! I've lived and
ridden in practically every region, season and climate in the country
(save for OR,) and I was asking purely out of respect for the trail
and local conventions. What flies in other parts of the world and
country might not around here, thats all.

Hell no...it is never "too wet to ride"...that is what fenders are for...the
quick release type of course...real Mountain bikers ride in all, and I mean
ALL weather.....naturally some areas are more sensitive to rut creation so
be mindful of that when you pick your trail to ride....and trails rocks
roots ect, are slippery when wet...The only time trails are not really
ridable is when they have 5~6" or more of snow on them...then it is a pretty
hard crank....
