Barton crash

The rock was simply protecting his territory. We ran over him and his
family all day long. I think he has been though enough, and earned his
right to stay put. That is one tough rock.

Dig that sucker up and make it a traveling trophy for the person getting the
crash of the season (or if you crush it up it could be in a sporty urn). We
need more diverse awards for the series. A heavy rock would be a good one
for a crash as they cause quite a few. Person returns it for the unlucky
winner the next year. We could also have awards for heaviest bike, oldest
rider, most ugly rider (me) etc. Think about the many award possibilities.
Brad and crew could always come up with swag for various awards. Beer if
nothing else.

Thanks for all the well wishes!

I do appreciate them. A big get well soon to everyone who was injured.

Dave and I were taken out by the same rock and so we are considering
digging it up and crushing it with our one good arms.

I wonder if Brad could arrange to have that rock brought to us so we
can sacrifice it to the gods of CCX.

Jeff,
I am sure I am not the only one happy to "see your email" with the relative
good news. I have to admit that I was concerned for whoever (you in this
case) was lying there next to the course. You and all of us are so
fortunate to have such great care in these situations. Hope you heal up
quickly.

Many thanks to those who bundled me up and sent me off in the ambulance. I know was not sufficiently appreciative at the time. Your energy and attention to my cause were truly a godsend!

No bones broken. Just some nasty cuts that a plastic surgeon cleaned up last night.

I hope someone has my bicycle and maybe the helmet. Could you let me know where it is and I can get off your hands. Thank you.
