2005 Model SRM Professional Road PowerMeter: $1250
(These are over $3000 new. I bought it for $2100 before the 2006 season)
I am up in WA, but race with a lot of OBRA folks both here in WA and in OR.
I'd be happy to consider taking PayPal and shipping my SRM if you're
interested. Just email me at jim@jsteague.com .
I'm assuming people in this list know all about PowerTaps, PowerMeters,
wattage, and training with power, so I won't bore you all with PowerMeters
101.
This is the wired version of the higher-end "Professional Road" model, not
the less expensive "Amateur" version. Crank spiders are standard Shimano
(130mm BCD), crank length is 175. These cranks do require a SQUARE TAPER BB.
Comes with
. standard 53/39 StrongLight chainrings
. software and manual on CD
. USB connector (this is not one of the older units with a serial port
connector)
. Charger
. PC-V head unit (red)
. Handlebar mount
I'm also throwing in a copy of Hunter Allen & Andrew Coggan's book "Training
and Racing with a PowerMeter". I got a LOT more out of this device after
reading this book.
This thing has performed flawlessly, and I love it. However, at this point,
I've pretty much gotten out of it what I was looking for and am ready to
sell it.
This is also on Craig's List if you want to see photos.
