WEBCYCLERY MOVIE NIGHT @ McMENAMINS
THE 9 BALL DIARIES
McMenamins Old St Francis School Theater - Bend, Oregon
9:00 p.m. | $5 per person | 21 & over

Join the crew of WebCyclery for the Oregon premiere of The 9 Ball Diaries, the highly anticipated new documentary that follows Cannondale rider Tim Johnson's 2007 cyclocross season.

Ride shotgun with road racing’s golden boy, Tim Johnson, as he wraps up his day job and he makes the transition to compete for the National Championship titles in his true love of cyclocross. Follow Tim and his crew as they tackle the North American cyclocross circuit, kicking off under the lights in Las Vegas, to the soggy courses in New England & Portland, Oregon and then onto snowy Kansas City to fight for the National title.

Produced and directed by four time Emmy Award winning sports documentary producer/director, Don Hampton and his crew from DH Productions. This film is beautifully shot in pristine high definition.

Kevin Gorman, a film critic known for his thumbs-up and thumbs-down reviews with his brother and fellow critic, Mean Todd, has praised The 9 Ball Diaries and heralded it as "The sweetest Tim Johnson cyclocross movie ever!" Mean Todd continued the accolades and added, "As long as you're going to be at McMenamins drinking a beer, you might was well be watching The 9 Ball Diaries at the same time."

While WebCyclery Movie Night at McMenamins is a fund raiser for Central Oregon Trail Alliance (cotamtb.com), it is mostly an excuse to get together with a theater full of like-minded cyclists to watch kick-ass bicycle movies, drink a beer, raise some money for local trails, and maybe win a cool door prize.

Running time: 48 minutes
