Brews Up New Sponsor, Apparel Supplier
*Portland-based cycling race team taps support from Hopworks brew pub; *
*Selects Italian cycling apparel maker Castelli to create revised team kit.

PORTLAND, Ore. *PrestoVelo | bicycleattorney.com * one of Oregon's oldest
bike racing teams has shaken up its sponsor line-up and team design for
the 2008/2009 season, adding support from the Portland's popular *Hopworks
Urban Brewery* and apparel from Castelli's new custom apparel
division, *Servizio
Corse*, announced team President Danny Knudsen.
In addition, an official team vehicle has been added to the club's
promotional arsenal a logo-festooned PrestoVelo Land Rover SUV made
possible by Mike Colbach of bicycleattorney.com, the team's primary
sponsor. The vehicle will bring visibility to the team and sponsors on the
highway and at the races.
With more than 40 active team members, competing in all forms of bike racing
road, mountain, track and cyclocross *PrestoVelo | bicycleattorney.com *is
a fixture at Oregon Bicycle Racing Association events throughout Oregon and
SW Washington. The team's prominent place in the local racing scene is what
attracted Hopworks Urban Brewery to throw their support behind the team. The
team's primary sponsor is bicycleattorney.com, a service that provides legal
counsel to cyclists.
"Everyone on the team is excited about having Hopworks Urban Brewery on
board," Knudson said while savoring a pint of Hopworks Organic Crosstown
Pale at the pub (2944 SE Powell Blvd., Portland, Ore., www.hopworksbeer.com).
"No doubt about it, a brew pub is the prefect sponsor for a cycling team!"
The addition of Hopworks also meant the team had to revise the team kit
(uniform), Knudsen explained. This gave the team the opportunity to take
advantage of Castelli's new *Servizio Corse* custom apparel division. Castelli
USA launched *Servizio Corse* in September, after entering into an agreement
with its Italian partner to market and manufacture team gear in the U.S.
"Never before have such innovative and technically advanced products been
available to teams and clubs," explained Greg Cowan, president of Castelli
USA. "We're flattered to have PrestoVelo as our first team customer. The
team will be able to enjoy Castelli quality and performance clothing, even
our Rosso Corsa products."
