To all of you who came last Saturday to Alpenrose for the Middle of May
Track Races, we thank you for coming. For those that didn't make it,
you missed some great racing under nearly perfect conditions, partly
cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60's.

Hello Everyone!
For those that did not attend the Middle of May Track Races held at
Alpenrose Velodrome on Saturday May 20, too bad. You missed a GREAT day
of racing and spectating.
The weather was beautiful, the crowds were good, and the racing was
OUTSTANDING!
There were so many people racing this year (62 registerd) that we were
able to have a Cat 3 field for the first time! Some fields had has many
as 18 riders!
Thank you once again to those you who did come, we hope you had a good
time and will come back next year.
Lastly, a BIG thank you to our sponsors; Bike n' Hike, Russ Humberston
Automotive Group, and The Bike Gallery, These three fine organizations
made it possible to provide some great prizing not to mention all the
OBRA BAR points that people collected.

A reminder that the "middle of May" track race is still planned for May
20 at the Alpenrose Velodrome in South West Portland, OR.
Registration and warm up start at 10:30 am with the first race planned
for Noon. Format is Omnium (same as last year) and if there is enough
interest (which is REALLY hoped for.....) We will have at least one
Madison Race.
