Trail Access - Rocky Point/Scapoose

Eric, thanks for posting this letter. Just for the record, Longview has given special permission to use their land for mountain bike riding and as such, we have no "rights" per se. If everyone abides by their rules riding there can continue for as long as they give permission, which they have the right to revoke at any time. We are guests, so please everyone act accordingly and we'll be able to enjoy a favorable relationship with these owners and continue to ride some great singletrack.

BTW, contact the PUMP club for more info and ask how to get involved with maintenance of local trails, including the ones in Scappoose. They're a great club doing the hard work many of us reap benefit from. Kudos to the PUMP club!

Mike

This is a letter sent to one of the people working with Longview Timberlands
to retain mountain bike access for the trails off Rocky Point road. If you
ride out there it is good to know you "rights".
