Chas Bruce is an antique bike collector who had some beauties displayed at the Oregon Historical Society some years ago. They may have contact info for him. At that time there was a group the Cascade Classic Clunkers or Cycles...another member of that group, Marvin works at the Green Furniture Hospital on SE 20th at Belmont, across from Col Sumners Park.
I have a few older bikes myself, but will be in South America until Dec 12th and would like to participate if the event is after that date. It would be helpful to know when it is

Perhaps we could also celebrate the introduction of dandelions to the Portland area by a Mt Tabor resident, who appreciated their medicinal qualities.

the 100 year anniversary of Mt. Tabor park is fast approaching, and there are plans for antique cars in the park during some themed celebrations..
There is also an opportunity for antique bikes.
Anyone know anyone I could talk to about old bike groups or anyone want to help bring old bikes to Mt. Tabor or know anyone who might know someone who heard of someone who once saw someone who could help? You get the idea.
this is a great opportunity where the planners recognize that bikes are important to this celebration, but don't know to whom to speak.
