Replacing worn out Sidi Dominator velcro?

Ron and Dorothy Strasser

2008-12-09

They put new velco on my old dominators this past summer and I used them all
but one cross race. Except for a few other small flaws, the new velcro made
them like new. I love those shoes and Mountain Soles provided professional
knowledge and work quality.

I would try Mountain Soles, http://www.mtnsoles.com/
I've had them repair some gear for me in the past with good results.

No connection beyond being a satisfied customer.

Hey all,

My 2005 Sidi Dominator 5's are still going strong, but the velcro on
the straps is getting worn out-- I have to pretty firmly rub down the
straps to get them to stay closed. It's pretty much the tension on
the red plastic "security teeth" that's keeping the straps closed.

Have any of you out there replace the velcro on your Dominators?

I'm feeling very sad that I might have to toss my lovely lovely
Dominators. It's be nice to have an excuse to get some Dominator 6's
or even the Dragons, but jeesh! Money money money!

Thanks for reading.

I'm feeling very sad that I might have to toss my lovely lovely
